01/15/10 Nebraska Lottery to Offer Mega Millions® Game Starting in March, Nebraska Lottery players will be able to play Mega Millions, a multi-state jackpot game currently offered by 12 lotteries across the United States. A hearing was held in Lincoln on January 5 receive public comment on the proposed regulations concerning Powerball and the addition of Mega Millions in Nebraska.
12/15/09 Mega Millions Regulations Hearing Planned A notice has been given for a public hearing before the Tax Commissioner on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, in Lower Level Conference Room B, Nebraska State Office Building, 301 Centennial Mall South, Lincoln, Nebraska, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The hearing will be to adopt and promulgate regulations pursuant to the State Lottery Act concerning Powerball and the addition of Mega Millions. The opportunity to be heard will be offered to interested persons upon request to Douglas Ewald, Tax Commissioner, Nebraska Department of Revenue, P.O. Box 98901, Lincoln, NE 68509.

$10,000 Powerball Prize for Lincoln Man 03/10/09 Ryan Stigge of Lincoln recently won $10,000 playing Powerball from the Nebraska Lottery. This winning Powerball ticket was sold at The C Station 1401 Pine Lake Road in Lincoln.
Stigge quickly claimed his prize, arriving at Nebraska Lottery headquarters. He learned of his win from the state Nebraska Lottery web site, nelottery.com. Stigge has no plans for his prize at this time.
