Louisiana Powerball players will soon be able to multiply their non jackpot winnings up to 10 times when the Louisiana Lottery brings back its popular Power Play 10X promotion beginning April 29. Power Play allows Louisiana Powerball players to multiply their non jackpot winnings by a multiplier of 2X, 3X, 4X or 5X when they add the option to their Powerball ticket. The Power Play multiplier is randomly selected and displayed on an animated spinner during each Powerball drawing. During the Power Play 10X promotion, a 10X multiplier will be added to the field with a 1 in 16 chance of being selected. This special promotion runs April 29 - May 29. The 10X may be selected multiple times during that period.
