"We didn't sleep last night," said Graves. "I stayed awake all night watching the ticket." The Ohio County resident purchased his lucky ticket at Tandy's IGA at 524 North High St. in Rising Sun. His winning ticket matched all six numbers to win the Wednesday April 23rd $21.5 Million Jackpot. "Our sons are coming down tonight," said Graves whose two sons live in Lawrenceburg. "We're going to do a little celebrating." Graves and his wife are retired. "We're really retired now!" said Graves.
$75,000 Hot Streak for Vicki Blue Lotto winner Vicki Blue claimed $75,000 from Lottery Headquarters today. The Needham, Ind. resident does a lot of driving and likes to pick up new Scratch-off games while she's driving around the city. "I was at a stoplight when I scratched off this ticket," said Blue. "I did a double blink and then had to pull over after I realized how much I won!" Blue purchased her ticket from Village Pantry #0631 at 990 S. State St. in Greenfield.
"This is a significant amount of money," said Blue. "I love to play the Hoosier Lottery! It's something fun I do." Blue plans to pay some bills with her winnings.Tony Webb of Muncie claimed his $50,000 treasure from Hoosier Lottery Headquarters today, too after playing Scratch-off game Palace Treasures. "I couldn't believe it," said Webb. "I told my buddy and he couldn't believe it either!" Webb plans to pay some bills, put some away and help his sister out a bit. He purchased his winning-ticket from Broadway Marathon at 1701 N. Martin Luther King Blvd. in Muncie.
INDIANAPOLIS Jason Graham of North Vernon claimed $500,000 at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters today on Scratch-off game $500,000 Riches.
"I about fell out my truck when I scratched off the ticket," said Graham. "I told my fiancée to keep pinching me to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Stuff like this never happens to me!" Graham purchased his winning-ticket from BP at 790 N. State Street in North Vernon. The North Vernon resident plans on starting his own construction business, taking the kids to Disney World and purchasing a new home. "I know I'll do something real nice for my mom and dad, too" said Graham.
INDIANAPOLIS,Indiana: Thomas Baldwin of Indianapolis received his own special delivery from the Hoosier Lottery by claiming $100,000 at Indiana Lottery Headquarters today. "I was excited when I first scratched the ticket and saw it was a winner," said Baldwin.
The Marion County resident has been a dedicated postal worker for the last 20 years. He plans to pay some bills and put the rest of his winnings in savings. "Well, I might take a vacation at some point, too," said Baldwin. Baldwin purchased his winning $500,000 Riches Scratch-off from Marsh Supermarket at 3633 Kentucky Ave. in Indianapolis.
INDIANAPOLIS,IN., Two of three Indiana Powerball winners from Wednesday's draw came in to claim $200,000 each from the Hoosier Lottery today after matching five numbers but not the Powerball number. Karen Simpkins of Milan and William Lindsey of Calumet City were the two lucky Powerball players. "Oh Wow," said Lindsey. "We just missed it by one number!" But that won't stop Lindsey from continuing to play Powerball. "I expect to be back next week!" he said. The jackpot for Saturday, March 15 is an estimated $275 million and is currently the largest jackpot in the nation. Lindsey, a U.S. postal worker purchased his ticket from K/ D Marathon at 220 165th St. in Hammond. Simpkins claimed her $200,000 prize with husband Dave and son Sam. "I was driving home from the store and my heart was beating so fast," said Simpkins. "She called me and was crying," said Dave Simpkins. "I thought the house had burned down!" His wife had in fact won $200,000 from the Hoosier Lottery.
The Simpkins plan to spend the majority of it on their son's college education. Notre Dame is where Sam Simpkins hopes to go. "I want to be on the football field," said Sam. Simpkins purchased her winning-ticket from K K Mini Mart at 1000 North Warpath in Milan. Floyd Sallee of Beech Grove was the third Powerball winner from Wednesday's draw. He claimed his $200,000 prize on Thursday.
INDIANAPOLIS,IN., Scott Torreson of Crown Point never thought this would happen to him: winning a $1,000,000 Hoosier Millions playing Scratch-off game Hoosier Millions. "I was screaming and dancing at home," said a cool and calm Torreson. "I didn't believe it when I first scratched it." Torreson, 26, stopped with a co-worker for a cup of coffee this morning at Speedway #6621 at 153 US Highway 30 in Valparaiso when he decided to make a Lottery purchase. After scratching it off in the car, Torreson immediately had his co-worker drop him off at home and called his father Jeff. "We're going on a trip to Indy," he said on the phone. "You need to leave work now!"
Torreson and his father drove to Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis today to claim the prize. "It's a one in a million chance," said Jeff Torreson. "I'm glad it's his lucky break." Torreson won a $1,000,000 annuity, so he will receive cash-value payments for the next twenty years. Torreson hopes one day to become a police officer. Right now though, he was thinking of heading to Arby's.
John O'Bryan of Lafayette claimed a $200,000 Powerball prize for a group of players that included long-time friend David Carter of Indianapolis at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis recently. "We play Powerball every time the jackpot is high," said O'Bryan. "We've always had the arrangement that I would take all the publicity if we were winners." The Tippecanoe County resident purchased his winning-ticket at Village Pantry #606 in Indianapolis for the Saturday, March 8th drawing . "We're still somewhat taken aback and shocked," said Carter. "Of course, we're excited too!" O'Bryan claimed $200,000 for matching 5 of 5 white numbers, but not the red Powerball. Neither had any plans for the money as of yet. "We might buy another Powerball ticket," said O'Bryan. "Who knows?"
INDIANAPOLIS, In., Jama Granger of Alexandria claimed $500,000 at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters today on Scratch-off game Wild 10's. "I thought it wasn't true," said Granger. "I ran downstairs and had others look at the ticket."
Granger purchased her winning-ticket from Village Pantry #0565 at 104 South Park Ave. in Alexandria. Granger was not the only Hoosier who claimed a prize at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters today. Carol Russell and her husband Dean of Shelbyville claimed $25,000 thanks to the new Extreme 8s Scratch-off game. Russell purchased her winning-ticket from Village Pantry #0507 at 415 N. Vine St. in Shelbyville.
INDIANAPOLIS Timothy Oakley, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana and Kenneth Conley of Rochester, Indiana each claimed $50,000 today at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters after playing the Feb. 16 Lucky 5 midday-draw. "It's about time," said Oakley. Oakley purchased his winning-ticket from Museum Shell at 3002 North Illinois in Indianapolis. He plans to take his children to Disneyland, including two-year-old Kyra who accompanied him to Hoosier Lottery Headquarters.
"I'm on a roll," said Oakley. "You might see me again!" Kenneth and Barbara Conley made the drive from northern Indiana to claim their $50,000 prize. "We're Ken and Barb," said Conley. "Like Ken and Barbie." The two have been married for 47 years. They plan to pay off a car and possibly take a vacation. Conley purchased his winning-ticket from Good To Go #34 at 400 North Main St. in Rochester. The Saturday Lucky 5 midday-draw numbers were: 03, 05, 10, 11 and 12.

The Marion County resident purchased his winning-ticket at Circle K #44 located at 6743 E. Washington St. in Indianapolis. "Every Saturday, I try to buy $5 of Powerball, $5 of Hoosier Lotto and two Scratch-off games," said Portman.

INDIANAPOLIS - One $100,000 unclaimed Hoosier Lottery prize is due to expire on Feb. 11, 2008. The winning Hoosier Million Dollar Raffle ticket was sold at Speedway #5173 at 3388 South US Hwy 41 in Terre Haute. The raffle winners were announced on Aug. 16, 2007. One $100,000 prize has not yet been claimed. The holder of this ticket needs to claim the prize at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis by 5 p.m. EST on Monday, Feb. 11, 2008.
The other unclaimed Hoosier Lottery prize is a $200,000 Powerball ticket due to expire on Feb. 22, 2008. The winning Powerball ticket was sold at J /D Marathon at 7890 Calumet Ave. in Munster. The ticket is from the Aug. 25, 2007 Powerball drawing. The numbers from that date were: 2, 8, 23, 29 and 35. The Powerball number was 19. The winning ticket matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball. The holder of this ticket needs to claim the prize at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis by 5 p.m. EST on Friday, Feb. 22, 2008.
INDIANAPOLIS William Sallee, 24, of Auburn has been a hard worker all of his life. He's been working two jobs trying to save enough money for a college education.
