How much does shipping cost?

How long does shipping take?
We ship in-stock items from our warehouse within 24-hours of credit approval. Orders received after 1PM EST, on weekends or on holidays will be shipped the following business day. You will be notified regarding backordered items and expected delays. Allow 10 days for regular shipping.
Express shipping options are also available on orders shipped within the continental United States. (Overnight shipping is not available to residents of Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico or for large or bulky items noted in the catalog copy). Orders for in-stock items received by 1PM EST will be delivered within 3-business days using our 3-4 day service. Overnight packages will be delivered the following business day. We do not offer express shipping for backorder items.
Can I order from or ship to anywhere in the world?
International customers can order online or over the telephone. Shipping to Canada cost an additional $9.95. Shipping to the UK costs $19.95 and to anywhere else costs $35. When purchasing dELiA*s merchandise, note that all prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Your credit card will convert your total order amount based on that day's exchange rate. If you are paying by check or money order, you may use a currency converter on the web like http://www.canada.com/ or http://www.customhouse.com/ to estimate your order total in your own currency. Remember taxes and duties are your responsibility. Please allow 6-8 days to ship to Europe; 7-10 days to Japan; and 10-15 to Canada and days to the rest of Asia and the world. What does "On Backorder" mean?
When you add an item to your cart and a message is displayed that the item is on Backorder, and a future date is presented, it means the item will be available to ship on the given date. You may order that item and it will be shipped when it arrives in our warehouse. If you are paying by credit card, you won't be billed until the item is shipped. We do not offer express delivery to international addresses.
What does "Not Available" mean?
When you add an item to your cart and a message is displayed that the item is Not Available, and no backorder date is presented, it means that the item is sold out and we will be unable to ship that item

How do I buy a dELiA*s gift certificate?
Gift certificates are available in many denominations
and can be ordered through our retail stores, by
telephone, mail, fax or online. You will not be charged tax (if applicable) or shipping & handling when ordering a gift certificate. To order a dELiA*s gift certificate by phone, please call toll free to 1-800-DELIA NY (1-800-335-4269). A representative will assist you. If you're ordering by mail or fax, fill out the order form inside the catalog for item #5500. There are no shipping & handling charges for the mailing of gift certificates only. Gift certificates cannot be express shipped. The mailing address is P.O. Box 6143, Westerville, OH 43086.
How do I redeem a dELiA*s gift certificate?
Gift certificates can be redeemed online, by telephone
or by mail. To redeem a gift certificate by phone
please call our Customer Service department toll
free at 1-800-DELIA NY (1-800-335-4269) 24hrs/day, 7 days a week. A representative will assist you. If your order amount is greater than your gift certificate amount, the balance will be charged to your credit card. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. They expire 24 months from the date of purchase. Lost or stolen gift certificates cannot be replaced.
How do I order gift wrap?
To order gift wrap, click "add gift wrap" in your
shopping cart. Each box fits one item, so you should
select gift wrap for every item you want wrapped. Each box costs $3.50.
What if I want to gift package more than one item?
If you want to gift package more than one item, you
must order gift packaging for every item. In your
shopping cart, you can check to make sure that you
have selected gift packaging for all items. Each item
costs $3.50 to gift wrap.
What will the gift tag say?
The names on the gift tag are determined by the
addresses you enter during the checkout process.
The first name in the billing address will be used
in the "from" field on the gift tag. The first name
in the ship-to address will be used in the "to" field
on the gift tag.
How do I remove an item from my cart?
When viewing your cart you will see a "REMOVE" button
next to each item. Click "REMOVE" for whichever
item you want out of your cart. You will see your
cart displayed again, without that item.
Do I have to use a credit card online?
For now, you have to use a credit card online or
sign up for a debit account like RocketCash or
DoughNet using a parent's or guardian's credit card
We cannot accept checks or money orders for orders
placed online.
Can I order from an old catalog?
You can order from any Delias.com catalog, old or new,
provided the item is in stock. You can check if an
item is in stock by entering the item number in the
space provided at the top right of the dELiAs*cOm
homepage and shop page. After you enter in the item number and the name of the product is called up on your screen, click to add it to your cart. At that point you will be informed if the item is available.
