08/01/10 On Tuesday, August 10, Arkansas Lottery Commission Chair Dianne Lamberth directed the ASL staff to schedule an oral hearing on the proposed Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) amendment to the Operational Rules at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2010. The hearing will be open to the public and will take place in the Conference Hall at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock. Those wishing to make public comment are invited to participate. Comments will be limited to three minutes per individual.
07/10/10 Kenneth Griffin of Springdale won $250,000 prize on the May 25 Mega Millions lottery. The R&S Kountry Store on U.S. 412 in Springdale sold this winning lotto ticket.

The purpose of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery is to provide scholarships and grants to Arkansas residents enrolled in public and private nonprofit two-year and four-year colleges and universities within the state. The Lottery will be operated with integrity and dignity in a manner that provides entertainment to the public, maximizes revenue and accounts to the public and General Assembly through regular reports and audits.
